Sri Sri Ravishankar has been relentlessly working towards peace and conflict resolution in the individual capacity by bringing simple yogic techniques to help people live stress-free lives. He has contributed to the happiness of millions of people in the world. He has been working towards peacekeeping initiatives between nations and within India as well. In one of the finest the mediation which brought peace to these countries after 50 years of war and strife.

The Art of Living has been conducting humanitarian projects and programs for stress-free living throughout Latin America.
In June 2015, Sri Sri met President Juan Manuel Santos in Bogota and promised, “I would do everything that is in my capacity to bring peace to all.”
Sri Sri’s vision of a stress-free, violence-free world has guided his efforts to contribute to the resolution of the longest armed conflict in Latin America.

Sri Sri says,

“I have this crazy idea… a world without violence. This might appear to be utopian thinking, but we need to dream and we will get there! If we instill pride in being non-violent, in being compassionate, in being helpful to others, our lives will take a new direction. And that should be our unwavering commitment.⠀

There are usually two sides to a civil conflict and no matter who strikes first, eventually both sides are wounded. Conflict arises in the first place because both sides stick to their stand, yet to resolve the issue, both need to be made to rise above and look at the larger picture. Breakdown of communication is a major cause of escalating the dispute and thus, a dialogue is an important tool in resolving it. When I visited Latin America in June this year, we sent a message to meet with the leaders…”,

What happened in those meetings. Why did after years of conflict they give up war? What did the Guru say to FARC?

An incredible mission that shook the world.
