The next day-long “Taste of Mediation” workshop is being scheduled on Sat 28th Sep 2019.
This workshop focuses on LISTENING skills and paraphrasing. Listening is an essential component of effective communication. While we hear people we mostly do not listen. Paraphrasing what we listen helps us to express seamlessly. We will be using improvisation theatre and a series of mocks to enhance the quality of listening and paraphrasing.
It is one of the most essential aspects of mediation. Mediators use these techniques with parties and it gives tremendous assurance to the parties to open up more. Good listening and paraphrasing ensure the foundation of a productive mediation. It is the charm of a beautiful mediation process.
